Outlook 2003 Annoyances

Here's some notes on how to get rid of Outlook 2003 Annoyances:

Short story:

  1. Be in the Inbox
  2. Right-click on the toolbar and choose Advanced.
  3. Slide down to Define Views.
  4. Copy the current view to a new view (i.e. "Ken's View")
  5. Turn off grid lines
  6. Turn off grouping (even if it says "None" some is in use)
  7. Save the new view
  8. Select each of the folders and choose "Ken's View" for each of them
