Getting rid of fancy ALT-TAB
For XP, you can get a fancy ALT-TAB that has pictures instead of just icons. This turns out to be part of the Powertoys for Windows XP bundle. It can be turned off independently if you use the Change button in Add Remove Programs. Disable the Alt-Tab Replacement item.
