Stop Eclipse from expanding files in Project Explorer
I like to use the little back-and-forth arrow in project explorer so that the file I'm editing is highlighted. Most of the time, the default seems to be to highlight the file. In some versions of RAD, the default is not only to highlight the file, but to expand the file to show the classes in it. This is annoying, because it takes up a lot more real estate.
This is caused by "hierarchical" view in the Project Explorer. To turn it off, click the little white triangle, choose Folder Presentation, and then choose Flat instead of Hierarchical.
