Firefox CruiseControl Plugin

Using the Cruisecontrol plugin for Firefox, the build state (a green or red light bulb) is displayed in the lower right corner of the browser. From this light bulb, you can quickly jump to the builds page or you can start, pause, and resume a build of any project.

I used the following steps to configure it (the URLs are specific to my situation):

  1. Open Firefox and go to http://www.md.pp.ru/mozilla/cc/cc-0.9.4.xpi and install the plugin

  2. After restarting Firefox, right click on the red light in the lower right hand of the browser window and select “Options”

  3. In the first text field put http://server:9080/rss

  4. In the second text field put http://server:9000

  5. Choose to sort by project name (personal preference)

You can also conveniently kick off a build of any project by right clicking and choosing Projects > Project Name > build.
